Refund Policy
1. SCOPE
This document sets out the principles regarding cancellation, refunds, and changes for cruise (ship) tours purchased through Selam Teknoloji Turizm Yatırım A.Ş. (“AGENCY”). This document is supplementary to the Distance Sales Agreement.
2. KEY PRINCIPLES
- Cancellation/refund conditions for cruise tours are subject to the specific terms of the ship operator, airlines, and other service providers.
- Therefore, any deductions that may arise in case of cancellation are determined according to the rules of the relevant service providers and are accepted by the CONSUMER.
- The binding documents for cancellation/refund conditions are the Reservation Document / Voucher / Tour Registration Form and (if applicable) campaign terms.
3. CHANGES (DATE / NAME / SERVICE)
- Date change requests by the CONSUMER are, as a general rule, treated as “termination/cancellation” and cancellation conditions apply.
- Name changes, cabin changes, flight changes, and similar requests may be possible subject to ship operator/airline rules and availability; price differences and/or penalty fees may apply.
4. CANCELLATION & REFUND
The refund/deduction amounts applicable in case of cancellation for cruise tours are stated in the product’s Voucher and in the terms of the relevant service providers. The CONSUMER declares that they have seen and accepted these terms at the time of purchase.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted to the AGENCY in writing or via a durable medium.
- In case of cancellation, any remaining amount (if any) will be refunded after deducting the service providers’ penalties/deductions and legal obligations.
- Refunds are processed using the same payment method used by the CONSUMER (credit card / bank transfer / etc.).
5. MISSING THE START / NO-SHOW
If the CONSUMER misses the start of the tour or fails to provide written confirmation of participation, the AGENCY has the right to cancel all reservations and no refund will be issued.
6. FORCE MAJEURE
Natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics/pandemics, quarantine, government decisions, adverse weather conditions, transportation restrictions, and similar events beyond the AGENCY’s control shall be deemed force majeure. In such cases, the AGENCY shall not be liable.
